Joanna was born in Gdansk, Poland and lived in France and Sweden before moving to Oregon in 2004. Prior to joining the Watermelon team she has worked at Intel as a product development engineer, taught middle school Robotics and high school Computer Science. Joanna has always enjoyed programming and holds master degrees in Telecommunications and in Information Technology. Her particular interests are in custom web development, database design and internet security. In her leisure time Joanna plays classical violin and strategy board games with her friends and family.
