Friends of Trees is a non-profit organization serving the greater Portland / Vancouver and Eugene / Springfield areas. Since its inception in 1989, it has planted over 450,000 trees and educated thousands of people on tree planting and care. Their WordPress-powered website includes a nonprofit web design. A complex WooCommerce-based system enables customers to view and purchase trees based on the neighborhood in which they live and information provided by city inspectors. It contains detailed information and images for each tree and enables the customer to instantly filter the available trees using several criteria. A customized administrative back-end generates a number of highly customized reports to include sales data, site inspection information, and an integrated Google map of planting locations. In addition, administrators have complete control over available products, discounts & sales, volunteer roles, and administrative controls.
